Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all customers, users, clients, and account holders who access or use XIRMO Services.
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.


1. Illegal Activity

You may not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

  • Hosting, transmitting, or distributing illegal content
  • Engaging in fraud, deception, or criminal activity
  • Violating intellectual property laws
  • Participating in hacking, cracking, or unauthorized access
  • Operating services in violation of local, state, federal, or international law

2. Prohibited Content

You may NOT host, store, transmit, or distribute any of the following:

  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, obscene, or exploitative material
  • Content involving minors in any capacity
  • Hate speech, extremist content, or violent material
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive content
  • Content intended to offend, shock, or harm others
  • Content that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights
  • Malware, viruses, ransomware, or harmful code

XIRMO maintains a strict zero‑tolerance policy for illegal or offensive content.
Violations may result in immediate termination without refund.


3. Resource Abuse

You may not engage in activities that degrade or disrupt the Services, including:

  • Excessive CPU, RAM, or disk usage beyond normal hosting needs
  • Running unauthorized background processes or daemons
  • Hosting cryptocurrency miners without explicit permission
  • Running unstable, insecure, or high‑risk applications
  • Using the Services as a file‑sharing or distribution hub

4. Email & Messaging Abuse

Prohibited email activities include:

  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk messages
  • Phishing, impersonation, or deceptive messaging
  • Using misleading headers or sender information
  • Operating mailing lists without proper opt‑in consent

XIRMO may temporarily block outbound email if abuse is detected.


5. Security Violations

You may not:

  • Attempt to bypass or disable security controls
  • Probe, scan, or test networks without authorization
  • Interfere with other customers’ services
  • Use the Services to launch attacks against other systems

6. Customer, User & Client Responsibilities

All customers, users, and clients are responsible for:

  • Maintaining secure passwords and authentication methods
  • Keeping software (including WordPress, plugins, and themes) updated
  • Ensuring their own customers (for resellers) comply with this AUP
  • Monitoring their accounts for unauthorized activity

7. Reseller & Agency Obligations

If you operate as a reseller or agency:

  • You must enforce this AUP with your clients
  • You are responsible for all client activity under your reseller account
  • You must provide first‑line support to your clients unless otherwise arranged

Violations by your clients are treated as violations by you.


8. Upstream Provider Compliance

XIRMO relies on upstream providers for infrastructure, networking, domain services, SSL issuance, and email delivery.
You must comply with all applicable upstream provider policies.

Where upstream rules are stricter, those rules automatically apply.


9. Enforcement & Actions

XIRMO may take any of the following actions in response to AUP violations:

  • Issue warnings or require corrective action
  • Suspend or throttle Services
  • Disable specific features or functions
  • Terminate accounts without refund
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement

XIRMO reserves the right to determine what constitutes a violation.
